Online Reputation Management in the UAE
In the UAE, Google Reviews and Trustpilot shape every buying decision. We remove harmful content from Google, Trustpilot, Facebook and 200+ platforms — backed by the UAE Cybercrime Law and the Federal Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
We'll review your online presence and respond within 24 hours.
Why UAE Businesses & Individuals
Trust Erase Negative Links
In the UAE, reputation is everything — for businesses, executives and individuals alike. One negative article or Google result can end deals, damage careers and destroy trust overnight. We've spent 12+ years protecting clients across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider Gulf region.
In the UAE, personal and business reputation carries more weight than almost anywhere else. From Google search results to LinkedIn profiles and local news portals, we know exactly where your name is being shaped — and how to control the narrative on every platform that matters here.
The UAE's Federal Cybercrime Law (No. 34 of 2021) and TDRA content removal regulations give individuals and businesses powerful legal tools — but only if you know how to use them. We file legally-grounded takedown requests that UAE platforms and international hosts actually act on.
We've supported entrepreneurs, executives, SMEs and high-net-worth individuals across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and beyond. From suppressing damaging Google results to removing defamatory content on regional news portals — we deliver measurable, lasting outcomes.
Confidentiality is not optional in the UAE — it is essential. Every case is handled with complete discretion. We operate under NDA from first contact, never disclose your identity to platforms or third parties, and delete all evidence files post-resolution.

In the UAE, reputation is researched across global and regional platforms — from Google to Gulf-specific news portals and professional networks. We monitor and act on every one.
Over 97% of UAE internet users rely on Google. A single damaging result on page one can cost you clients, deals and credibility within hours.
The UAE has one of the highest LinkedIn penetration rates globally. Executives, investors and recruiters check LinkedIn before every major business interaction.
Articles in Gulf News, Khaleej Times and Arabian Business rank highly on Google UAE. Negative press here spreads fast and stays visible for years without intervention.
UAE consumers heavily rely on Google reviews before visiting any business — restaurants, clinics, hotels, real estate agencies. A low rating directly impacts footfall and revenue.
The UAE has some of the world's highest social media usage rates. Negative posts go viral fast — especially on Instagram and X — and can reach tens of thousands within hours.
Critical for Dubai and Abu Dhabi's hospitality sector — hotels, restaurants and attractions. UAE tourism depends heavily on Tripadvisor ratings to attract international visitors.
UAE's top property portals feature agent and developer reviews. In a market where trust is everything, a negative rating here can halt sales for entire projects.
Expat communities in the UAE are highly active online. Negative discussions on ExpatWoman, Reddit UAE and Facebook groups spread rapidly within the local community.

ExploreUAE Law Protects Your Reputation.
Here's Exactly How.
The UAE has one of the world's most legally robust frameworks for protecting personal and business reputation online. Most people don't know their rights — we make sure you can use every one of them.
UAE Laws That
Work in Your Favour
From the Federal Cybercrime Law to the Personal Data Protection Law and the UAE Penal Code, the UAE gives individuals and businesses powerful, legally-enforceable rights to demand content removal — and perpetrators face serious criminal consequences.
The UAE's primary cybercrime law — amended by Federal Law No. 5 of 2024. Under Article 43, publishing content online that insults, defames or damages someone's reputation is a criminal offence. Applies to all platforms including social media, WhatsApp, forums and review sites. Fines of AED 250,000–500,000 and imprisonment. Even sharing or commenting on defamatory content can trigger prosecution.
→ AED 250,000–500,000 fines · Imprisonment · Deportation for expatsFederal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — in force since January 2022 and entering full enforcement across sectors in 2025. Modelled on GDPR, it gives individuals the right to request correction or permanent deletion of their personal data held by any UAE organisation. The UAE Data Office oversees compliance, with TDRA acting as the active point of contact for data protection inquiries.
→ Right to data deletion · Organisations must respond within designated timeframesDefamation under the UAE Penal Code covers statements made in any medium — online or offline. Criminal liability arises from publishing false information that harms reputation, whether in speech, writing or digital form. The law protects three core values: dignity (كرامة), honour, and reputation — all recognised as fundamental rights under the UAE Constitution.
→ Criminal liability for false statements — intent is sufficient, financial loss not requiredThe Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) oversees digital content in the UAE and acts as the primary contact for data protection and platform removal requests. Official reporting channels include the Dubai Police eCrime portal and Abu Dhabi's Aman Service — both enable victims to report defamatory content directly for rapid action.
→ Official removal requests via eCrime & Aman portals — direct platform enforcementIn the UAE, You Have These Rights
Most victims of harmful online content in the UAE never take action — not because the law doesn't protect them, but because they don't know these rights exist. They do.
Under Article 43 of Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021, you can file a criminal complaint via the Dubai Police eCrime portal or Abu Dhabi's Aman Service against anyone who has published defamatory or insulting content about you online — including on social media, review platforms and messaging apps.
The TDRA can issue formal content removal requests to platforms operating in the UAE. Google, social media platforms and news portals must comply with legally-grounded removal requests — including de-indexing from Google search results — when the content violates UAE law.
Under the PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), any UAE organisation holding your personal data must delete it upon a valid request. Full enforcement is expanding across sectors in 2025, with the UAE Data Office overseeing compliance and issuing penalties for non-response.
Under the UAE Penal Code, criminal liability for defamation does not require the victim to prove financial harm. Damage to dignity, honour or reputation is sufficient — and courts can order compensation alongside criminal penalties against the perpetrator.
We handle every step — eCrime and Aman portal complaints, TDRA removal requests, Google de-indexing submissions and PDPL data deletion demands — so you never have to navigate UAE law alone.
eCrime/Aman complaint responses: typically 3–7 days. Platform direct takedowns: 5–14 business days. Google de-indexing: 14–30 days. PDPL data deletion requests: within the regulated timeframe set by the UAE Data Office.
Absolutely. All requests are filed under our company details. Your identity is never disclosed to the platform, content creator, or any third party at any point — we operate under NDA from the first contact.
Free confidential consultation for UAE businesses and individuals. We'll tell you exactly which laws apply to your situation and what can be removed.
